Artificial Insemination (IUI)
Intrauterine insemination (IUI) bypasses the cervical canal and deposits processed and concentrated sperm directly into the uterine cavity. IUIs are performed at Dallas IVF in either natural, clomiphene citrate, or gonadotropin stimulated cycles.
Artificial Insemination
An IUI is performed near the time of ovulation. Sperm is collected from your partner prior to the procedure. The sperm are prepared in our state of the art andrology laboratory that is dedicated to preparing the highest quality of sperm from the sample provided. Once the sperm sample is prepared, the sperm are transferred into the uterus using a small catheter. Intrauterine inseminations are relatively painless.
