Receive individualized fertility care with attention to detail from Emily Goulet MD
Joining Dallas IVF is a homecoming for Emily Goulet MD, having grown up in Allen, Texas. “Helping women and men in Dallas and the surrounding areas grow their families is a dream come true,” she says.
Our Dallas fertility specialist offers a patient-centric approach to medicine. “A woman knows her body best. I follow evidence-based medicine, but each individual’s experience and input is valuable to help me put together an individualized plan for care. My goal is to educate and empower patients in their care,” she says.

After earning her medical degree from Texas Tech University Health Science Center, Emily Goulet MD completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Texas Dell School of Medicine.
Our Dallas fertility specialist has always been passionate about women’s health. “During my time in medical school and the Peace Corps, I discovered that I was very passionate about advocating for women’s health. Women shouldn’t have to compromise when it comes to respectful and thoughtful care,” she explains.
Emily Goulet MD took her love for women’s healthcare a step further by completing a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of Alabama Birmingham Medical Center.
“I fell in love with reproductive medicine because it’s cutting-edge science. I loved delivering babies as an obgyn, but it’s so rewarding to help start the family-building process,” she says.
She is a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, the Society for Reproductive Investigation, the Society for Reproductive Surgeons, the European Society for Human Reproduction and Embryology, and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
A personal connection to infertility
Our Dallas fertility specialist understands infertility both as a physician and as a patient. She conceived her beautiful son through in vitro fertilization (IVF).
“I feel passionate about helping women with age-related infertility issues. It’s not fair that delaying childbearing until the time is right means a struggle to have children. From egg banking to fertility treatments, I like that I can empower women to take control of their reproductive journey,” she explains.
Emily Goulet MD enjoys all areas of reproductive medicine, but she has a special interest in diminishing ovarian reserve and minimally invasive surgery, including robotic surgery, to help women overcome troublesome symptoms and restore their fertility. She is proud to offer services to all family types, including same sex couples and single mothers by choice.
“My family says I was destined to be a surgeon because all I do is stitch,” she says. When she’s not helping patients become parents, she enjoys quilting, knitting, cross-stitching, going to the Dallas Opera and hiking outdoors.
